Yeah, it's something that forms you. I think there is even science on this how it rewires your brain and messes with your nervous-system.
I think you can bounce back later in life, if one bad thing happened to you like your pet dying or your parents divorcing. It's another thing if you had to endure abuse/neglect for years.
I think you might find ways to cope with it but you will carry it like a heavy backpack for the rest of your life.

Online dating used to be okay in the 2010s. You could meet decent and attractive women on there. The girl-next-door. It's full of cunts now with insanely high unrealistic standards that even trust-fund Ivy-League Chad can't reach. The male-female balance wasn't so swayed to one side, where women have all the power. It also has to do with our culture where people have insanely high standards, not just rigged algorithms made by woke people. Many men are also a bunch of weak simps who try to chase women instead of being a confident, assertive, independent Chad who is even able to reject women.

It's actually crazy how much culture has changed from the early 2010s to now. Life is largely online now, compared to when there was this balance between online and offline back then. People only used cellphones for calling and texting until a certain point this century. The internet was used for looking up information and emails. I think people don't realize how much things have changed.
