Reminder that Irulan was originally going to be played by a certain Canadian actress. However, studio pressure forced Villeneuve to bring in Pugh. Two reasons we're allegedly given for this change. 1) Pugh was seen as more of a rising star, with a genZ appeal, and 2), it was believed that her homely looks wouldn't excessively outshine Zendaya.
