I once did 19 hours (legal limit back then) during holidays with secret extra bonus.

>8 hours of normal pay
>first 2 hours of overtime with 50% extra
>everything after that with 100% extra, except the deal was 200% extra

That's 38 hours' worth of money for 19 hours of work, industrial companies with big machines pay even students well when some machine with hourly production worth 15 000 USD has stopped and needs fixing and testing.

And yes, I mostly watched experienced people work and brought them the correct tools :D
