>just want to be clear..
>not being over optimistic
>no copuium
>just looking at the facts..
>russia HAS run out of steam
>they are NOT holding land as they were
>the areas they are advancing ukraine is not trying to hold
>russian recruitment numbers are 1/3 or so of what is needed to make up losses
>russian moral is low, and going lower (mass self shootings by airborne forces as an example)
>units are being destroyed and not being rebuilt
>russias new marine division has been put on hold
>change in tactics by having small teams put up flags just to die for propaganda
>food fuel and ammo are now a major issue with the russian army
>major units like the 35th and 36th CAAs that were everywhere 18 months ago seem to have been broken up and used up.
>ukraine does not have a huge force at pokrovst, and is mostly held by a new 155th brigade (with others). russia cant seem to take it with elements of 5 army corps.
>russia is floundering going from armor attacks, to walking infantry, to lada assaults, to MC, back to walking, to barn tanks... nothing is working for them and they keep moving to another tactic without the "breakout" they need.
>russia is pouring through senior leaders.. many generals have been fired, jailed, killed, etc.. soldiers at the front seeing this have less and less faith in the commanders.
>russians now know that there homes in the rear are now getting hit and the people they left behind are in danger and have less fuel and food from last year.
>russian troops know that IF they go home wounded or damaged they may be locked up by the oblast government or not have any money coming to them. they are finding out that being in the army is not a way to make long or short term money.
