Finished the game. It's deeply flawed in most ways, including the story's clumsy suffragette focus. I was only engaged by the puzzle-solving. The next 2D frame-by-frame animated game is The Eternal Life of Goldman, but you play as a boomer with a cane in that, not an exciting protagonist

A good day for light spooky games with this and Little Nightmares 3 out today. So far, it's about what I expected, a Clock Tower throwback that's rough around the edges and far from polished, but still entertaining. I'm glad they added voice acting, when gameplay was shown off a year or two ago it felt dry
