So no shit there I was on the lake throwing a grub and a beetle spin when I snagged it on a rock. I managed to get it back and the next throw I snagged it on a rock again, except this time it was a fish and a fucking big one too (freshwater big).

Reeled that bitch in with total shock at the size of that lad’s mouth since this animal was massive compared to the panfish I’ve been getting. I’ll be damned if that bastard didn’t snap the line right as he started to come out of the water. I nearly fell back, my sunglasses flew off behind me, and my animal instinct took over and I smacked that fish with my pole as it shot away. Little doubt in my mind I snagged a cat of some sort and that bitch was FAT. Unbelievable stuff to a novice like me. I fought this bass a few casts later.
