Important information

The Baron of Eichenwald's chief duty is to safeguard the Elemental Tree of Earth in his domain and collect its produced Pearls of Power. These are given to a representative of your king and an inquisitor of the church each month.

Eisenhart was built on top of a magical leyline that has grown hyperactive; this is causing all kinds of magical anomalies and thinning of the veil between the prime world and the various branches of the World Tree, which might even allow Outsiders to slip into the city unnoticed.

This is causing the Elemental Tree to produce even more Pearls of Power, increasing from one or two a month to one each week.

During the afternoon of your meeting with the baron, you and your father were accosted by a strange elven man calling himself Armin White whose very existence seems to cause pain in your psyche and holes in your memory.

Thibault (the heir of Eichenwald) is a mage capable of using and producing fire innately. He was tutored by the elf Armin White until recently.
You have decided to become friends and try to help him handle the growing unrest in the Monster village

Confronting the bishop of the city, Belmont, about his failure to uphold the ritual of Last Bells made him reveal that he's spending most of his time and efforts safeguarding the lives of a hundred comatose patients See Thread 02 for proper details.

The situation in the Mamono village is going to become untenable soon. There's a very real risk of diseases spreading, and the mercs' abuses are escalating since your parents' stunt with saving Shigeko and Seyraphal.

Mysteries

Recently, some Acorns of Earth have gone missing.

Your new friend, Augustine Aurora, lost her son last month. The circumstances of his death are suspicious: the boy fell from one of the church bell towers, and he was often seen in the company of Thibault, the 17-year-old son of baron Bram Eisenhart.

The boy was a squire to an exiled knight. The man is convinced his death was no accident; according to him, Olin wasn't brazen enough to try climbing a church tower.

After the attack on your home by undead dogs and one peculiar humanoid entity, Seyraphal uncovered odd memories by consuming their flesh. The dogs (a combination of hunting hounds and pets from surrounding farms) were lured into the forest near your home by a strange hypnotic song. The humanoid was a monster that was killed there by people your druid friend couldn’t identify.
