I'm fine with a dragged out circumstance as long as they continue to make their relationship a central important thing as they have in both season so far. It's been a steady source of fics and I imagine will continue to be so. S2 definitely felt like someone in the writing room was at least aware of the tropes circulating in fics (the entire Enid being some sort of ostracized special circumstance from being a late bloomer and blood moon wolfing out, etc.) and the S3 stinger comment about whether Wednesday will find Enid or "the Beast" leads me to believe that next season might lean into the dual personality thing that a lot of fics use.

Pretty good eating, all things considered.
