there was a DHS sweep back in 2009 or so. they occasionally sweep through the military and accuse people of shit. in this case, the work I had done in trashcanistan put me on the watchlist. in times of civil war, traditionally in every country, veterans are the first ones to get knocks on the door, and not good ones. some fought it and got taken off, I don't care.

when I had my ts/sci, I ended up in a lot of wacky situations and it almost got taken away with me being put in jail because of that shit. I had been doing some glowie work overseas and my name popped on an interpol list, because DHS shares that shit, while at the schipol airport. certain guys go on always, like SF guys, infantry, EOD, intel, stuff like that. depending on if you had a "mental health crisis" during your time in service, they'll auto add you to the list for that as well, even if you never left the states. in a warzone though, not everyone gets added to the list.

someday I am going to eat a fuckin succulent chinese meal and get arrested.
