Ok, do you have a belt fed? NV and thermal? A second secure location? Water/food set up for ~3 weeks? That's a fucking unreasonable amount of ammo for one household. I'm sort of depressed in general rn but the one gun purchase I regret the most is my Rossi R95 in 45-70. By far. The gun itself was fine. But 45-70 is just the absolutely stupidest fucking cartridge. It's like somebody combined every single downside of every cartridge and put it into one. It's expensive. It's big so it's inherently low capacity. It's rimmed so it's incompatible with a box magazine. It has a shit ton of recoil. The trajectory is like a fucking rainbow. And the variety of loadings are comparable to 12 gauge so if you zero something at 100 it's not going to be accurate at 100 with anything else. I appreciate the history and cool factor, but if you want to actually use the thing it's thoroughly unenjoyable. Pic unrelated
