He had wide appeal, workers, bourgeois, women, the military, the prussian junkers, after gaining power the great depression rapidly ended in Germany. the economic restrictions of Versailles and their November Republic thrown off and the military restrictions undermined with shovel brigades and the like then 3 years later they hosted the olympics.
Can you really imagine any of these goofballs pulling this off? Even though Hitler lacked higher education he managed to accomplish these things with his judge of character, he noted Hjalmar Schacht's performance dealing with the hyperinflation and said "we need this guy" even though he was a moderate he loved Germany and worked in its interest, for example. I expect most of the people listed would simply surround themselves with sycophants, unable to see they are not genuine.
