shit take, there's plenty of wars in Europe that lasted longer than that.
Russia fought Sweden for 21 years... and won. Completely demolishing Swedish dominance at the time. And in fact, Russian analysis are comparing the current war in Ukraine to the Great Northern War as well, because the principles of the war are similar. Only in this case, Sweden is the ButthurtBelt, supported by EU/NATO.
Overall, while the war isn't going ideally, Russia is winning though. EU has destroyed its standing in global relations and economy by overinvested in something that was never its business to begin with.
