"Protestantism" is a vague term and phenomenon that makes no sense to celebrate or demonize outside of a black-and-white view of the Catholic Church. It's evident to me that Martin Luther protested to the dark sides of the Catholic Church (vanity, hypocrisy, indulgences, proxy-loansharking White Christians using Christ-hating jews, gaslighting and guilt-tripping) whereas Henry VIII protested to the light sides of the Catholic Church (matrimony, diplomacy, public healthcare, fettered kingship, Christian virtues, humility before God).
