what's your excuse, anon?

Ana Victoria Espino de Santiago has made history as the world’s first lawyer with Down syndrome. She earned her law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas and is using her voice to advocate for inclusion, accessibility, and equal rights.

Her journey wasn’t easy - she faced discrimination, studied online through high school, and completed university with the help of a “shadow teacher.” But she never gave up. Now she hopes to work in law and eventually enter politics to make life better for people with disabilities.

Ana Victoria’s story is a powerful reminder that determination and the right support can break any barrier.
