It's a good question, and one I've thought about.

Part of what made me want to make the game is the channel "Color Up", which demos a bunch of different craps "strategies". Obviously none of them "work" because the game is constructed so there's no way to ever eliminate the house edge.
So the goal of my game is to tap into the fantasy of utilizing a craps betting strategy, alongside with roguelike elements to make an experience like gambling, but with no money risked.

Another point is just Balatro, the other obvious inspiration. It's clearly successful, so demand is (or was) there. I'd also argue Balatro removes the most fun parts of poker (Socializing, bluffing, real money) and somehow still "finds the fun" so I think it should be possible with craps.
