>One thing I've never really understood is PC gamers who are happy and even brag about having shitty or old hardware
That's because you're a corporate shill, that still believes some oldass "newer = better", where as any gamer that has been alive longer than the Twin Towers have not existed KNOWS that this has not been the case for the past 20 years.

>PC technically is better than consoles but only if your hardware is recent enough.
Incorrect.
For starters, just my GPU can be superior than the ENTIRE SYSTEM on a console.

Second, the superiority of PC comes from multiple fronts:
>THE largest gaming library on the planet
>Cheapest game prices + shittons of free games
>No "generations" to speak of + access to consoel games if you want
>Chance to fix and mod games to your liking
>Freedom to fix and upgrade your hardware and software
>Option to use any controller ever created
>Choice to use as many screens of any res and Hz you want
>The unrivaled multitasking and content creation options

There's also the aspect of absolutely greedy Jewishness quickly taking over the industry, that keeps pushing more expensive, more bloated + terribly optimized "flavor of the month" rehash trash, that looks barely better, often WORSE than some 10+ year old classics (ie. MGSV, TW3, Crysis 3, Mirror's Edge, Batman Archam games...), that ran at 1440p, High settings, no upscalers / FG, on 1GB GTX cards back in the day.
Meanwhile, the modern UE5 slop (which really is the only shit demanding massive VRAM pools and RT at this point) require >16 times faster hardware + 10 times more storage space to even run "okay" at lowest settings, WITH upscaling.

And then you wonder why every single tech and game discussion gets wrecked by "LOL You're just POOR!! :^)"... that's toootally how a regular human being and a consumer talks about this stuff, yeah?
