Just finished this. I loved this game. It needs an option to re-fight bosses at their shrines, because the combat is pretty fun.
I tried NG+ and it's way too fucking easy. The bar you had to pass to beat the final boss of NG vs the difficulty of the enemies at the start of NG+ are extremely out of wack. NG was way more fun; barely scraping by for long unknown sections with only 4 HP flasks. I can beat like 4 areas in a row without resting in NG+.
Maybe there's a mod to make it harder or something but I had to artificially switch from +10 to +3 weapons and reduce my vitality to make it feel at all like NG
