How does the Ottoman Dynasty rank as rulers of a large spanning empire across 3 continents?

All in all they were more successful and competent rulers than European dynasties like the Habsburgs (muh Habsburg Jaw), Romanovs (acked), Bourbon (also acked on the French side), Windsor etc.
