My 38yo report
>lifting every 2 days hard giving 2 days to recover.
>feel stronger than ever
>full time job, family and sidehustle. Nothing much changed since 20s aside from kowledge and money
>best thing i ever did was to follow a strict discipline. Mu idea was to have disciplined lifestyle as second-nature so whenever I need I always can take days off. I sill sometime go partying etc.
>daily regiment - 6am up, water, cold shower, situps pullups pushups... eat, gym 2hours, work.. eat eat.. go home..!prepare food and clothes for next day!... stretch, sleep early about 22:30. Feel like a machine.
>I have not lived healthy but i have quit smoking , most of alcohol, almost all sugar, most weed and most of binge consuming internet, quit gambling. These imjo are laymans crutches. Get rid of them and youll feel amazing. Quit smoking first- then alcohol-then gambling or gam8ng-then weed-then coffee. Its the best order as it does not create mental vacuum.
>I want to pick up MMA or sambo this year. Love competing.
>with age I also added one highly important thing - REST BETWEEN SETS. Like serious 2-3minute rest even if you dont feel it. Has spared me from all sorts of injuries.
>183cm 90kg low body fat (6'0 200lbs). Never roided or used any PEDs ever. Probably could be ripe 100+kg leanish if I ate better.
If you enjoy competition bicycle, armwrestling and game hunting are amazing for mid aged people
