It would truly be ironic if it were a DSH hospital: Democrats have long opposed the DSH hospital for serving underserved/ghetto communities, instead favoring more direct govt hospitals and govt spending on nicer corporate hospitals to serve the same areas, but they're often even better than private hospitals at serving conditions that commonly afflict poor people than the upscale hospitals, and at times their closures have marked decline in quality of care for bullet wounds, brute force injuries, stab wounds, and other problems afflicting urban communities.

It was often been joked prior to Obamacare that you want to go anywhere else, except when you got shot, and then you say "Bring me to that free hospital!"
