No seriously, you're right. I would not be scared if Silent Hill happened to me in real life. Ok I would be scared at first, but then you just get used to the super ultra extreme fucked up world. It helps that I already listen to death metal and generally enjoy extreme brutal things. But the monsters are slow pushovers. It would be scarier *without* monsters.

I would be 100 times more scared in Raccoon City, zombies literally everywhere that take tons of ammo to kill, lickers that kill you in one fucking slash, everybody is dead except a handful of people, etc
