A woman has all the resources in the world to come to her aid if she is being abused in public. If her partner is "abusing" her in public that means she is attracted to that behavior.
I learned this the hard way when I intervened in a couples quarrel outside a Fogo De Chao. Saw the man yelling while pulling his partners ear. Me not knowing any better approached him grabbed his shoulder and told him to relax. To my surprise the woman picked up a pebble and threw it at my temple then both the man and woman started yelling at me in unison. Cancelled my reservation and filed a police report but nothing came of it and all that was left was to reflect on my naivety.
