If you take a triangle where lets say A is your eyes B are you foot on the ground and C is a point far away at the horizon where you looking . So when angle C gets less then 1 degree angle image start to disappear from the bottom up. This is geometrical description of limits of your vision. No one can see gazillion light years away , it just jew rat nonsense. All stars moon sun are local and relatively close.
From airplane you can actually observe day and night at the same time . Limits of the sun light are visible . endless horizon are visible.
As closer you come under the sun, as more heat you can sense on your skin.
