I think something else worth considering if you don't have flight training debt is that non-airline flying jobs become more of a career option. if you have huge debt, you're constantly under pressure to advance and try to maximize income. If you don't have the debt, that job ferrying around or that 135 or whatever home-every-night gig becomes pretty damn enticing, depending on their scheduling and exactly how much they pay with reference to the city's CoL.
