I'm not saying you're wrong but what's the point of driving engagement on /pol/ in the specific manner you're describing? I also find it unusual that you mention 'begging for sympathy' but on /pol/ there is no follow-up, such as in other venues, for that sympathy to be 'cashed in' in some way, such as with a Go Fund Me for alleged funeral expenses. Neither of these things you mentioned 'work' on /pol/. On **ddit, yes. On other places, yes. But there's no 'payoff' here....is there?
