Black Myth Wukong is a 7/10 but sold as many copies as the biggest entry in the 40 year old Zelda franchise. Wuchang is like a 3/10 yet still cleared 2 million copies, Stellar Blade sold 3 million copies. Quality doesnt really matter when their sheer numbers eclipse the western gaming sphere. There were basically no Asian games beyond Japan 5 years ago but look at the slate right now. They smelled blood in the water and are striking while the west is weak.
