As the Arius students talk among themselves, Subaru notices those who didn't hear the trumpet also view studying and taking exam negatively. This is in contrast to those who did hear the trumpet, who view studying positively, even if they find it boring and difficult just like the other group. The observation unsettled Subaru, but she decides to watch for a little longer. She asks the students what they think would happen if the angels sound all seven trumpets. Revelation being the only book they studied, the student know it means the end of Arius and the world. Subaru says after that, seven bowls are to be poured onto earth. Several Arius student exclaims they need to purify Arius by chasing out sensei and the Squad. Subaru says this is why she gathers them at the Basilica where the ancient Arius held their service. Even more students call for the restoration of Arius's custom, to avert the sounding of the remaining three trumpets. At this moment, Maia raises her objection to Subaru's theory that Trinity or sensei are the cause. Maia says there is no evidence to suggest Revelation is a one-to-one literal prediction. Maia is immediately accused of desecrating the scripture, but Subaru let her continues. Maia says she saw no eagle, and in Revelation, disaster follows each sounding of trumpet, but nothing like that happened either. This doesn't go down well with the fanatics, who argues Trinity's invasion of Arius is already a disaster. They then expand it to include sensei, and the Squad who they dislike more than Trinity. They accused the Squad for abandoning them; Atsuko despite being of royal blood and supposed to lead them; Saori despite being looked upon by many of them; Misaki looking like she has been saved despite being just like them; and Hiyori who they have nothing to say about. Looking at the Squad, they also wish to live a different life, yet to them it is an unobtainable dream.
