Well I am talking about a splitter pedal, no expression or something. The Boss LS-2 allows you to split your signal into two channels so you end up with
Channel 1 - Clean
Channel 2- XYZ effects
and you can blend both channels with each other to your liking.

The EHX Tri Parallel Mixer splits into 3 (or much more with tweaking). And has EQ for each channel which makes it really fucking nice for toneshaping. Also has a blend for each channel so you are much more flexible. And it's only like 30 bucks more than the LS-2.

My suggestion is to drop the RAT and the SansAmp, keep the big muff, get a splitter pedal. If you get the tri-parallel give the big muff a designated channel and turn the blend up full so it's pure fuzz that you can blend with the other 2. Keep one channel clean or with stuff like EQ/compression etc. but "clean" and the third channel you can put whatever the fuck you want into, experiment.
If you got pocket change to spare I would suggest still getting an Alpha Omega, if even their most affordable version the Omnicron, and run it after the clean channel so you got a designated distortion/fuzz with the clean channel on top so you can properly stack fuzzes/distortions and because Darkglass really makes the best fucking distortions on the market. So basically you end up with 4 channels and up to three different distortions/fuzzes that you can blend with each other without sacrificing low-end.
