Summoned Russian ambassador arrives at UK Foreign Office

Russia's ambassador to the UK has arrived at the Foreign Office, where he's been summoned after Moscow attacked Kyiv overnight.

The British Council building was damaged during that assault, which Ukrainian officials say killed at least 17 people, including a two-year-old child.

As Andrey Kelin arrived in his vehicle, the window came down in front of the media, which is not usual when diplomats arrive.

He did not speak.

The UK's foreign secretary David Lammy said the "killing and destruction must stop", as he confirmed our report earlier that Kelin has been summoned.
