it's a sad situation, really. you can see them everywhere online (espeically tech-adjacent ones, i see protos in technical non-furry communities all the time) and the base species has enormous design potential, but there's an unspoken taboo to not talk about them in most spaces because it might end up attracting retarded kids.
mix and match, they're very versatile. plantigrade, digitigrade, paws, talons, hands, any animalistic traits, any robotic parts, visor masks, solid visors, any tails, no tails. anything really, and they don't end up looking like sparkledogs if you have even a smidge of taste.
