They do get better, they charge fast, store absolutely billions and you can download games like xcom and total war to play. I don’t have wifi in the flat i use i route through the phone, it’s plenty fast. Not quite as fast as the wifi at the house but fast enough - use a fan to keep the phone cool when downloading PS5 games & w/e when using it as a router.
Obviously you need infinite data don’t cheap out.
