Sure, but I NEED engagement for self-validation. It sucks when I post my mid hot takes and recycled memes way too late on Xitter and 4chan and barely get any replies because everybody else has moved on and forgotten about the topic. It's much better for my mental health when a piece of media is still culturally relevant. My shitposting on dedicated subreddits is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
