New polls for first preference voting intention.

The TUV (Traditional Unionist Voice) are now polling as the 3rd largest party, having overtaken alliance.
>who?
The TUV are who the DUP want you to think they are. Fiercely pro-British, extremely anti-Irish, and generally the last vestiges of "old guard" Unionist ideas. Its members were (like the DUP) opposed to the Good Friday Agreement, and constantly state that they will never go into government with Sinn Féin on account of their connection to the IRA.

The TUV's main guy is Jim Allister, who carries most of their momentum. This isn't uncommon; Alliance is the same (Naomi Long) and so is the UUP (Doug Beattie).
>so what happens next election?
There's potential here for the TUV to take seats off the DUP, but also for the confusion/split to accidentally lose Unionist seats to Alliance.

Either way, it's clear that Ulster Unionism is starting to rally around the more "extreme" voice of the TUV in face of DUP/UUP failures.
