speaking of ova's and spinoffs how successful was dakkan no roze anyway? I know it had a little bit of cameos from Lelouch, C.C, Kallen and Suzaku but did the nips really liked it? I refuse to believe their taste has degraded this much.

Like the other anon said, Lelouch is the money maker of the franchise, without him you lose half the fanbase that would have watched otherwise.
It sucks since it's not like the studio had a nice follow up for ressurecting Lelouch, keeping him dead was more beautiful thematically speaking but hey c.c won and gets to stay with him forever so I'm not that disappointed..
