Sticking to appearances, it's three things
Hair, Alice and the detective have auburn-black or brown hair, it looks less e-girly than for example Rebecca's, Uzi's or Amda's, they appear more mature in a way by that visual quality alone (not to forget what Godly beauty Alice's colourscheme and hairstyle is in general) imo. Even Yeva has the darker purple like Doll together with another 'realistic' hairstyle, Nori almost doesn't qualify but due to the tail (idk what rhe english call this style, mean the hair hanging from the left oc her face) with a small cloth and the smooth appearance of her hair on forehead she has something maternal imo.
Next is the eyes, the detective and Yeva are similiar in much use of unimpressed eyes, Alice instead has hollow eyes all the time but often frowns glees or scowls which makes her brows come down too, giving her so many expressionmarks(which stand out like sparks in the dark) to make her appear more mature (bur not cranky or old in any way, just somewhat weathered and experienced, strains of 20 years alone in a deathlab). Nori has solver eyes all the time we see her, she has more of a feral or beastly charm given her attitude when posessed.
Last is the bodylanguage, Yeva and the detective do this always when onscreen, Alice does it extremely when she's ignoring Uzi and admiring her hand she just fixed (rhrr4r what a tease, seriously), idk how to call it.
