There's 2 variables to that. One is whether or not your body tries to maintain a consistent temperature or just says "fuck it" and rides with whatever the ambient temperature of the environment is. The other is whether their body produces large amounts of heat or not. Lots of different animals handle these differently.
I think Lamia don't try to maintain one temperature, they just let it fluctuate. But they do produce heat. So when it's cold enough to drop their internal temperature they will become sluggish like you'd expect from a reptile, but they, but when conditions are normal they're swift. They always produce ambient body heat except when it gets too hot, or when they go long periods without a meal (to conserve energy) or when they shut down and go to sleep for the night. So they're sluggish in the mornings.
