Michael Jordan is the better analogy. He was billed as the next great player, he had the first shoe deal, the media praised him, etc. The other NBA players were jealous and purposely tried to hurt him early in his career. That's why I don't even think this is necessarily racial targeting against Clark. Nor is it the result of "female nature". I think this is just how black people are. They are naturally more emotional and more prone to jealousy and rage.
