Mihoyo fucked up the whole archon thing with Fontaine by making Furina not the archon so they can shill Neuvillette. That was really the point of no return for Genshin. Mavuika was an overcorrectiong, sure, but they kind of pushed people away from the archons and now they don't have that easy guaranteed pull they've relied on. Next region is basically a filler because they shoved so much shit into the story and never resolved it. Genshin is basically gacha WoW. They completely fucked it up but it still lumbers on because of how big the game was

also with all the fillers,makeup and photoshop "touches" you might as well be fapping to 3d models.
