The full-court propaganda press where my Twitter feed is wall-to-wall outrage over Charlie Kirk's murder and calls to fire every government employee who isn't grieving makes me think this has the blessing of DOGE, and maybe Trump himself. Kirk is also suddenly the entire catalog here, which seems a bit weird.
We know Charlie recently snubbed Nick Fuentes. I think he's recently been going off-message on the Epstein issue (Hard not to, really, given that Trump keeps changing the message) and that Loomer was attacking him. Loomer's got Trump's ear, Fuentes has Musk's ear.

This story pleases my conspiratard side, but it seems weird to use live ammo for that. Aiming for center of mass is pretty common and would organically occur in a real assassination attempt.

I'd been wondering what would be the POINT of a one-shot hit on an influencer - sure, he pisses off a lot of people, but he has no real political power. A schizo spergout would normally keep shooting until they ran out of bullets. A serious attempt to kill him would normally fire more than once.
What I'd overlooked is that there's one group of people who care a LOT about influencers activity.
Let me present to you the new lead suspect:
- Believes others are trying to assassinate him, so assassinating Kirk would seem proportionate.
- Was caught helping organize a political murder plot before and got away with it because the ultimate beneficiary was protected by the deep state.
- aaaand finally, was recently snubbed by Kirk.
