Dont show this guy 80s or 90s country lest he cry me a chatahoochee (idk), but its mostly the songwriting and tasteful arrangements that are his strengths imo. Hes a good singer, good guitar picker, and has real taste for bluegrass and country. Hes deep in the tradition and not just fortunate to have heavyweight cowriters.
