Copers say Durin is in Luna 3 because of the old fanfic 'leak' full of inconsistencies and outright inaccurate information that placed him in what the players at the time called 6.1 (the same 'leakers' didn't even know about the patch naming scheme)
So far we know that Luns 1 ends with a cliffhanger in which Varka talks with what likely will be the main antagonist, but since he's not shown in the cutscene Varka doesn't have an actual model name, but he is at the very least in the actual region whereas Durin has yet to even show his mug anywhere. It's clear that Varka will be a prominent figure in the first part of the story while it's far more likely that Durin will be offloaded onto the middle or final third of the story where Alice's boat arrives with Durin's two connections Albedo and Wanderer who is on his own mission unrelated to Rerir.
Varka is far more likely to be some random Luna 3 (what would've been 6.2 with the old naming scheme) character who's given heavy exposure in the story and released right before the 'archon' to wring people dry before the regional powerhouse Columbina comes out.
Character ID 123 is Varka, not WHOrin
