Do you guys consider pets and slaves to be the same or similar things? By pet I mean something that is completely dependent on you but doesn't necessarily serve you, ie. High end dog breeds, cats...

I ask because I often imagine myself as more of a pet for my master rather than slave because I don't think hard labor suits me, although I would definitely want to obidently serve my master if he/she treats me well. Is getting pampered the difference between a sex/relief slave and a pet? Or can sex slaves be pampered too?
