I've done tests and also looked up my documented family tree. I can tell you: the tests are great for finding distant cousins and confirming ancestors through them - but they're shit at estimating ethnicity percentages. So errr... CAVEAT EMPTOR. Also, always be prepared for a shocking result. These tests CAN and WILL unearth family drama if there is any to be found.
