>1m+ people immigrated to the USA in 2022 via green cards and temp. work visas
>Doing the math, nearly 3,000 people immigrated here EVERYDAY
We need to slow or stop immigration entirely. Our economy is fucked. The more people we have in the US, the less that jobs here are desperate for workers.

Ever since the advent of women going into the workforce was when the economy has started to go downhill. Yes, it would've been better if it was integrated slowly so the economy could prepare, but it wasn't.
Try and imagine how insane a sudden 100% increase of workforce is without any meaningful heads-up. That increase cheapens the value of every worker in the country by 1/2. The same principles as inflation

Now imagine 3,000 NEW workers coming everyday. It's why there's so many ghost jobs. Go into the mind of a company: Why hire now? Simply wait until enough workers immigrate, and get cheaper and cheaper until they're fighting and killing each other for $7.25 an hour.
The companies know that this is destined to happen, every month there's around 90,000 new workers. Most of them are jeets who don't know how fucked our economy is too, and will think $7.25 is the message from the holy cow they have been waiting for.

Trump's whole ICE movement is a red herring as well, he knows ICE is extremely inefficient, it's why they stopped posting their numbers online. They're too embarrassed to admit they can't throw a few illegals in a van.
It'd be political suicide to stop immigration though, despite its benefits to the overall workforce. In fact I'd support the ICE movement if he stopped immigration, the less workers, the better.
