There's a "britbong" webm that gets posted of someone knocking out someone giving giving him abuse, and the bloke has the presence of mind to catch him before his head hits the concrete and possibly causes him more harm (or even kill him). European states jealousy guard their monopoly on the use of violence, the governments here have ancestral memories of being put to the sword by peasants and thus ban anything that's too deadly - for our own safety.
