also, social media algorithms are actually worthless, you cannot (for example) make videos about two different topics because the simple indian-coded heuristics that youtube uses for its recommender algorithm can't handle a channel covering more than one subject. you have to make a new youtube channel for literally any new subject you want to talk about.

i have actually had a number of fairly successful youtube channels but i deliberately don't monetize them ever because it's a terrible "job". monetizing a youtube channel is how you end up uploading one 10:01 video per day about retarded topical internet drama
