Nobody literally and unironically believes in America the same way those 1940s GI's did anymore. The remnants of white America are openly hated. The only people with an IQ of 120+ holding this circus up are evil. There's no my fellow American like there was not even a century ago. People do things just to get paid for the most part now. This economy is on life support and everybody knows it. The next major happening will likely tip it all over. As of right now a bunch of people that are plotting to kill each other are still begrudgingly wageslaving within the same economy. Once the economy crashes it will probably look like the purge.
