being content in all things and having less burdens and lightening the burdens of others is true religion. If you have free time you can use it to care for all the orphans and widows. There are always orphans and widows. There are always the poor.

He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: ... 38 So then he that giveth [her] in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth [her] not in marriage doeth better.

1. time remaineth short
2. it pleases the Lord to not have a wife because you have more time for doing the Lord's will
3. it's ok to get married but it means you have obligation to her and less time for the spiritual things of God.
