There are actually way more than you think. They outsource the jobs. For every one tech worker you see domestically there are 5 working in the same department overseas.
If they crunch outsourcing you are bringing 10s of millions of jobs back the the US.
You are also going to crush the creeping in abuses and overworking that is happening in that job sector.
The kicker to all of that? The IT workers will work less and get paid more but overall productivity would skyrocket because we wouldn't have to keep spending so much time fixing messes and trying to keep shit from exploding as the quality of the work would increase.
Yeah the stock prices will take a hit because they can't squeeze their costs to claim they grew and made a profit...but whatever.
