I want to talk about feminism and the anti-feminists that congregate here and on other 4chan boards, and other places on the internet.

Do you consider yourself an anti-feminist? Why? What caused it to happen?

I will provide some context, read at your own discretion or don't:
>What is an anti-feminist?
An anti-feminist is a person confronted with feminism as an ideology and who makes a conscious choice to reject it. They refuse to become an ally to feminism, refuse to help advance its causes, and argue against its worldview. There are many reasons a person could be an anti-feminist, but I won't list them, I want to hear yours.

>Is anti-feminism misogyny?
I don't think so, at least not necessarily, though there is a lot of overlap for people depending on their reasons for rejecting feminism.

>Is disagreeing with specific feminist arguments anti-feminist?
If that were true there would be no feminists, only anti-feminists, because feminism as a movement has contained a multitude of conflicting viewpoints and arguments since its inception and these days has splintered into dozens of camps, so it is more accurate to call feminism a patchwork coalition than a unified movement. Feminists in fact argue more stridently with one another than they do with their ideological opposites, whom they scarcely interact with at all.

No, an anti-feminist doesn't nitpick, an anti-feminist says with conviction "I am not one of you, I am against you," to the entire, internally-bickering feminist collective.

>Why does this matter to you?
Because I'm an anti-feminist too, but my reasons are more intellectual and moral than personal. I don't hold any real animosity for women, or for feminists as individuals just for being feminist. I simply disagree with their ideology and believe it's self-destructive and harmful for society at large. As a member of society, the destruction of society affects me. I'm worried because we seem to be approaching the shit-hits-the-fan moment for feminism.
